THE VIEW FROM HERE: ACCESSING ART THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

YALE SCHWARZMAN CENTER

 and the LENS MEDIA LAB, INSTITUE FOR THE PRESERVATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE,

WEST CAMPUS, and YALE SCHOOL OF ART

On display at Yale Schwarzman Center from May 8 – November 22, 2024, this exhibition showcases works by students from Greater New Haven as part of The View from Here, a photography program offered by Yale Lens Media Lab and Yale Center for British Art since 2021. To date, three cohorts of students have learned essential principles of taking and composing their own photographs using a smartphone or personal digital device, responding to prompts including their views of self, time, color, story, and New Haven architecture. Stop by the Schwarzman Center at 186 Grove Street for this incredible exhibition.
